with yarn and yarn needle stitch sleepy eyes with eyelashes around bottom of eyes.

cut yarn. weave in all ends using darning needle and cut remaining yarn. attach eyes to middle of beanie with yarn and yarn needle.
Mouth
ch 10
row 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across with 4 sc in last st, turn to bottom of ch so you are working on other side, sc in each st across, 3 sc in last st, join
rows 2-3 ch 1, sc in each st around, join
Finish
cut yarn. weave in all ends using darning needle and cut remaining yarn. form a smile on the mouth using a yarn needle and yarn. you can stuff the mouth with stuffing now if you'd like. attach mouth to bottom of beanie with yarn and yarn needle.
Ears
magic circle, ch 1
row 1 8 sc in magic circle, join
row 2 ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join
row 3 ch 1, sc in each st around, join
Finish
attach ears to hat on each side using a yarn needle and yarn.
Hair
ch 23, cut yarn, attach to hair in 4 places along chain to represent hair on your monkey.
Bow
ch 3, 3 dc in 3rd ch from hook, ch 2, slst in same ch sp, ch 2, 3 dc in same ch sp, ch 2, slst in same ch sp.
Finish
cut yarn. wrap yarn around middle of bow. tie both ends of yarn together. attach to beanie to middle of hat with yarn ends and yarn needle.
