Our founder, Brie, had a vision to create a place for people to gather and find what they needed to help others in need. Make anything from beanies to blankets with us, along with thousands of others in over 19 countries. That is how The Creating Project was born.
The Creating Project was established in 2026 out of a desire to cultivate a community of diverse individuals looking for a way to enrich other's lives. Our founder designs, and creates knit and crochet patterns for all to use. They are designed with donations in mind to various charities helping those in need. These designs will always be available for free to you.
TCP has a wide array of patterns available to you from preemie beanies to blankets. Sorted by craft and project type or by charity. Our preemie/newborn beanies have interchangeable beanie and add-ons of your choice to make a unique project. Some of our patterns are older and are made with discontinued yarn but don't worry. The yarn substitution website can help you pick a similar yarn. Use our guides and videos to have a greater understanding of crochet.
We have found that learning to knit & crochet is a great outlet for relaxing as well as helping others. Join us in this project to make a better world around us!
